About this race
The Kudu Canter Trail Run is a family-friendly boutique trail running event held in the Central Drakensberg, between Durban and Johannesburg. Taking place from 23–25 October 2026, the event features scenic routes around Spionkop Dam, welcoming both runners and walkers, with an optional 300-meter dam swim. Families are catered for with a supervised kids' zone, dam-view camping, and a vibrant race village offering fishing, biking, and birdwatching.
