Knysna Extreme Triathlon

The Knysna Extreme Triathlon is a point-to-point ultra-distance triathlon consisting of a 5km swim in the Knysna Estuary, a 174km bike route through coastline, mountains, and semi-desert regions, and a 50km run through mountain passes and the Knysna forest. It is a physically and mentally demanding event limited to 100 individual entries and 10 teams. The race is part of the XTRI series and is described as triathlon in its purest form.
